Our Story
Although crossing paths many times at the University of Georgia, Ellis and Sarah never officially met during their time there. They were involved in a few of the same clubs and shared many mutual friends, but it wasn't in God’s plan to have them meet just yet (Sarah does claim that she remembers seeing Ellis around campus though). Ellis spent his evenings in Athens hanging out at Generals, a beloved country themed bar in Athens, and Sarah always swore she'd never date a guy who wore cowboy boots and liked country music...guess God had other plans there as well!
Fast forward 5 years and Sarah was now living in Atlanta and Ellis had just moved to Atlanta from Charlotte. Turns out they only lived one street away from each other in Buckhead. Timing finally fell in their favor, and in the fall of 2020 Ellis and Sarah officially met for the first time. Shortly after meeting, they shared a wonderful first date walking around Piedmont Park, wining and dining and laughing together all day. Ever since then, they've been by each other's sides, letting their love grow throughout the years. They continue to share the joy of cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs spending many of their fall weekends in Athens, GA doing just that.
